A single-sided printed coat of arms flag has the design printed on just the one side with a mirror image on the reverse. This allows the flag to move more freely in the wind, A double-sided printed flag has a design which features on both sides of the flag. They are composed of three flags sewn together, making the overall flag much heavier
HOW LONG WILL MY FLAG LAST FOR?
The life of your Salvation Army flag depends on variety of different factors, such as: weather conditions, length of time outside and how well the flag is looked after. To ensure you get the longest available life from your heraldic flag is vital that you take care to look after it as best as you can. Here is a brief explanation of how you can take appropriate care of your heraldic flag. We advise that if flags are intended for use outdoors then they are taken indoors or taken down during periods of high winds speeds i.e. exceeding 25mph. If flags are left up in high wind speeds this could result in tears and rips in the fabric. Our Salvation Army flags can be dry-cleaned or machine-washed at 30 degrees.
